Linux-Powered Dual-Mode ImCoSys Phone

Swiss company, ImCoSys, announced its intention to release a dual-mode mobile phone that also uses GPS. The PDA-like phone will star next month at CeBIT in Hanover, Germany. According to its datasheet, the smartphone is based on the Texas Instruments OMAP 730 processor, the same used by the E28. Running on Linux 2.4.20, the phone supports German, English, French, Italian and Spanish. The phone has a PDA-like LCD TFT touchscreen, supporting 262K colors and QVGA resolution. The ImCoSys phone should reach the market sometime in June 2006. Phone Specifications:
