HTC Touch Diamond2 For Taiwan

It wasn’t too long ago that Verizon announced the Touch Diamond in its lineup, but the folks over in Taiwan are certainly still a few steps ahead, as word is out that the HTC Touch Diamond2 will be released over there sometime this month, which certainly makes Verizon’s offering look outdated. The device will supposedly go for $650 after conversion, though it will ship with an 8GB microSDHC to ease the pain inflicted upon your wallet. Unfortunately, there isn’t any official word from the FCC or HTC as to whether the device will be heading stateside. Till it’s actually announced over here, we’re keeping our fingers crossed.

Wonder when HTC’s highly anticipated Touch Diamond2 will be released? Well, Expansys has put up a product listing for said device at £424.99, and states that it should be available in the UK on April 15th. Considering that HTC has a tendency to launch its products simultaneously across Europe and Asia, it looks like folks who are living there will be in for a treat rather soon.
