Well, if you’re on your way to subscribing to Sprint, you’ll certain want to check out the device at Amazon’s, as the company is offering it for just $99. Of course, the price is after a $100 mail in rebate, but it’s still a lot cheaper than paying the whole $299 to Sprint directly.

Rogers HTC Dream For Canada

Rogers has announced that it will be offering the HTC Dream and HTC Magic to its customers in the Canadian market, starting from June 2nd. According to them, these are the first Android-powered devices that will be officially on-sale via a carrier in Canada. Will you be picking up this phone on Rogers, despite not knowing what kind of data package the operator will offer you.

DoCoMo HT-03A Is Really The HTC Magic

If you thought that the DoCoMo HT-03A looks a lot like the HTC Magic, you’re right! The device is really the HTC Magic, and is the first Android-powered phone form DoCoMo, and it will be running the latest 1.5 version of Google’s Android. There is also a rumor that DoCoMo has an interesting surprise for smartphone lovers in 2 week’s time, so cross your fingers and hope for the best.
T-Mobile HTC Netbook Rumor

We’re all fairly familiar with HTC mobile phones, but what about a HTC netbook? Well, if the recent rumors are true, then the Taiwanese company is working on an Android-powered netbook, which will be available from T-Mobile. Aside from supposedly featuring an integrated 3G modem, the rumor also states that the HTC netbook might even be able to make its debut before the year is out. Will this turn out to be an accurate rumor? Stay tuned, and we’ll keep you posted.
Leaked HTC Hero Picture

Pictures of the HTC Hero, also referred to as the G3, have surfaced online, and at a glance, the device looks fairly similar to the current HTC Magic that is being released. One thing that folks will notice almost immediately is the lack of a trackball, which actually seems a shame, as the trackball is a rather useful navigation tool. The good news is that there is a 3.5mm headphone jack at the top, which addresses one of the major complaints of the G1. Stay tuned, and we’ll keep you posted on the updates regarding this phone!
T-Mobile Bigfoot Coming This Fall?

A leaked document from T-Mobile shows that a sequel to the T-Mobile G1 will be arriving this fall, dubbed Bigfoot. We’re not entirely sure whether the picture on the document is accurate or not, but with a name like Bigfoot, it certainly isn’t too hard to imagine the device as one that is rather chunky and has a sideways sliding QWERTY keyboard.

HTC Magic Is HTC MyTouch 3G

It looks like T-Mobile subscribers will be getting the HTC Magic, albeit with a different name. A leaked picture depicting T-Mobile’s inventory system shows a MyTouch 3G, which was one of the options that a T-Mobile survey offered when seeking a name for the upcoming HTC Magic. The device looks set to be available in black, white and merlot. Do you prefer the name HTC Magic, MyTouch 3G, or are you totally indifferent to the name?

Sprint HTC Snap

With the recent deluge of iPhone and Palm Pre news, it’s not too surprising that many of you have forgotten about some of the devices from HTC, one of them which is the HTC Snap. It seems that the device will be dubbed the HTC Snap S511, and Sprint is reportedly testing the device, indicating that it might be launched by mid-Summer. Of course, there is no confirmation of such a timeline, but keep your fingers crossed, and who knows, maybe we’ll see the phone released real soon.
Vodafone HTC Magic On May 1st

It looks like Vodafone is beginning to offer the HTC Magic worldwide, one country at a time. After Spain and Germany, Vodafone’s UK branch has issued a press release announcing that they too will be offering the Magic as of this Friday, May 1st. You should be able to pick up the device for free, depending on the data plan that you pick. To top it off, the carrier if offering 20 free HTC Magic phones through the month of May.

HTC Magic Unboxing Video

Looking forward to the HTC Magic? Well, how about a little unboxing video to whet your appetite? Most official pictures of the device are in white, but (not) surprisingly, the video of the device being unboxed shows a black colored HTC Magic. Accessories that have been bundled are rather sparse, with just a USB cable, power adapter, wired headset and a case that according to the video, “feels pretty cheap”.

Don’t want to scratch the shiny back cover of your new HTC Touch Diamond2? Well, you could always pick up a battery back cover from HTC. The back cover should be available from HTC, and will set you back $35, but if you’re the type of person who wants you phone to always be scratchless, it might be something that you want to look into.

HTC XV6175 Going To Verizon

The device was first leaked as the HTC Willow. The HTC XV6175 is rumored to be heading towards Verizon Wireless, and hopefully it’s sooner rather than later. Unfortunately there isn’t any official details or specificationson the device just yet, but we can probably speculate that it will sport Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard, and should be targeting the entry-level smartphone market.

About a week earlier than the expected launch of the HTC Magic in the UK, Vodafone’s Spanish webpage has already started offering the device, and is offering it for a slightly higher price that in the UK. Of course, if you absolutely must have the latest Android device on the market, you’ll certainly have to be willing to stomach the premium that you’ll be paying for it.

Best Buy Offering HTC Touch Cruise

If you’re a fan of the HTC Touch Cruise, and are looking to pick one up stateside, you might want to check out Best Buy’s offering, as it’s currently selling the device unlocked for $549.99. Best Buy has currently listed the device on back-ordered, and it’s expected to be shipping in 1 to 2 weeks, which isn’t all that far away.

Can’t wait to pick up HTC’s Touch Diamond2? Well, at least you won’t have to worry too much about its pricing, as O2 is offering the device for free, as long as you’re willing to tie yourself to a £30 monthly contract for 2-year, along with 9 months half price line rental (or £50 instant cash back). Will such a deal make you pick the HTC Touch Diamond2 over the iPhone, or will you still stick with Apple’s baby?

T-Mobile HTC Touch Pro2 Pictured

If you were wondering whether the HTC Touch Pro2 would actually make it to T-Mobile USA, you’ll be glad to see that live pictured of the device, complete with T-Mobile branding have appeared online. If you’ll take a closer look at the pictures, you’ll also notice that the QWERTY keyboard doesn’t have European characters like €, so that should strengthen your belief that it’s T-Mobile USA that’s indicated on the phone. The device will most likely be released as the T-Mobile Wing II on July 22, and cross your fingers and hope that the device won’t be delayed.

HTC Hero This October?

Looking forward to getting a new Android-powered HTC device? Well, the latest rumor seems to indicate that the HTC Hero will be released by HTC on October 11th 2009. A forum user who claims that he works for a company prepping the HTC Hero for the upcoming release has said:
I work for a wireless developer firm and I have just received word from the US carrier (cannot disclose who yet) that the release date for the HTC Hero (Android) is October 11th 2009. The carrier is giving us specifications to develop wallpaper, ring tones and apps to sell in their market place. This is just a bit of teaser information for now. I will provide more info as allowed.
US Cellular Launches HTC Touch Pro

It was previously a rumor, and now it has finally gone official. U.S. Cellular is currently offering the HTC Touch Pro smartphone on its network. The device will be priced at $249.95 on a two-year contract and mail-in rebate. In case you managed to forget, the HTC Touch Pro is a Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional phone with TouchFLO 3D interface, full-QWERTY slide-out keyboard, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.2 megapixel camera and microSD card expansion.

HTC Touch Diamond Hotfixes Released

HTC has released a couple of hotfixes for its Touch Diamond phone, which should solve a few of the more annoying bugs related to said phone. First off, the problems with audio playback skipping should be solved, and the second fix related to the Sounds and Notifications settings. You can check out the hotfixes here:
