iPhone Magnet?

iPhone Magnet?

The folks over at BGR have gotten wind of an “iPhone magnet”, which looks like an upgrade from the current iPhone 3G that a lot of people have nowadays. Of course, it’s a hoax, and we’re not sure why we would want our phone to be related to magnets (or a Magnetometer), but one thing that everybody seems to like about this fake iPhone is the fact that the home button changes color to notify you of unread messages. It sounds simple, but it’s certainly a useful (and possible) feature. Apple might really want to take note of such a feature and implement it.

Fake Lamborghini Vertu Phone From China

Fake Lamborghini Vertu Phone From China

We often complain of the number of fake/clone devices that are shipped out from China, so it’s only fair that we should applaud them for some originality – of sorts. Considering that there is no such thing as a Vertu Lamborghini phone, you’ll have to admit that this phone is rather “original”. Of course, it’s not a real Vertu, and most certainly doesn’t have any backing for Lamborghini, but if you’re trying to fake looking classy, you could always give this a try, albeit being a (very) long shot. The device purportedly sports (no pun intended):

  • 2.6-inch QVGA display, possibly a touchscreen
  • Media player
  • FM radio
  • Camera
  • Bluetooth

NokiPhone N3000i Is A N95 Clone

What happens when you marry an iPhone with a Nokia N95? Well, you’ll probably end up with something that looks a lot like the NokiPhone N3000i, which is an obvious attempt to clone the two and put them together. If you were wondering what this $129 phone offers, you’ll need to go through its specification sheet, which shows:

  • 3.2-inch QVGA display
  • Wi-Fi
  • Bluetooth 2.0
  • Dual-SIM support
  • microSD card expansion
  • Video recording (something the iPhone doesn’t have just yet)

Fake Tag Heuer Meridiist Spotted

We’ve previously caught sight of pictures of the Tag Heuer Meridiist, and it’s certainly a pretty phone, and it could probably hold its own against a Vertu. Being insanely priced, it’s only normal to see some folks decide that they should create a fake version of the phone, and that’s what has appeared online – a fake Tag Heuer Meridiist, which does look quite similar to the real thing. If you’re willing to compromise and settle for a fake, it will only set you back $290, which is a low lower than about five or six grand for the real deal.
