Samsung Galaxy S3 to get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean in October?

So you are a proud owner of the Samsung Galaxy S3, but one thing that has kept on bothering you would be the fact that your smartphone still lacks the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update. Fret not though, as we have word from Samsung that they will be bringing the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S3 perhaps sometime in October, as that would most probably be when the UK will be receiving a variant of the Galaxy S3 that will play nice with the UK’s first 4G network.

Of course, it still remains to be seen whether folks in the US will be on the receiving end of this similar update, as there are plenty of variables to consider in the entire equation, where some of them include negotiating terms and conditions with mobile carriers and what not.
