The Samsung i9260 has been deemed by some to be the model number (or name, depending on how you view it) of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Nexus 2, which obviously will continue from where the Samsung Galaxy Nexus left off. This does not seem to shape up to be Samsung’s next flagship model, but it could be a flagship model for the Nexus range from Google, although this time around, it is said that Google wants to have more hardware players in the game to make full use of its Nexus namesake, and there are whispers going around that the Internet search giant did rope in the help of LG, Sony and HTC as well.
The alleged images taken by the Samsung i9260 are not exactly stunning to say the least. Far from it, actually, but at least they have surfaced on Picasa, indicating the possibility of the very real existence of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus 2. Glad to know that work is being done on the handset, and judging by what we’ve seen from the photos, hopefully those were captured by a very early prototype!
