Sony Xperia Acro S 12MP Android Smartphone Announced

We have received news that Sony has just announced a couple of smartphones and for now, we have information with regards to the Sony Xperia Acro S. The Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone features a 4.3-inch HD Reality display that packs a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and according to Sony, the Acro S is also water resistant and dust proof to the standards set to IP55 and IP57 levels.

Besides, that the Acro S is said to feature two different cameras with the one on the front being capable of capturing 720p HD videos for video chatting with a better 12MP camera on the rear side of it. The device will available in black, white or pink colors when it does get released to the market. In addition to that, the device will come with Sony’s own NFC based SmartTag technology. For now, we don’t know when it will be hitting the market in the US yet and as for pricing, we haven’t had any word about that either.
