After the voice-recognition based mobile assistant Siri was launched last year as an iPhone 4S exclusive addition, it has been known for its never-wavering loyalty to Apple. Of course, that doesn’t exactly come as a surprise. Now however, it seems that Siri has suddenly had a change of heart after several reports suggested that when it was asked, “What is the best smartphone ever?” it answered several different answers, one of which was the Nokia Lumia 900. Thankfully, they can probably just fix her instead of firing her altogether.
Apparently, Siri used the results based on statistics and data from the Wolfram Alpha search engine to come up with the alleged answer. Siri, which has been a talking point and one of the main features of the iPhone 4S, has only come under fire for two issues since it was launched. The first of the two is about its supposed limited ability to decipher different regional accents along with scattered reports of coarse language that apparently happened while in the presence of children. If you’re using an iPhone 4S or have managed to get Siri on another iPhone through some sorcery, what are your opinions about it?
