After the Nokia 808 Pureview in all its MegaPixel goodness got an award last week, the company has just announced that it will be hitting stores sometime this May. Seeing as we’re already in the second day of the month, we’ll just have to wait until a more precise release date comes up for the Symbian-Belle powered device with its massive 41MP camera. From the announcement, the first countries that will receive the device will be Russia and India with additional countries coming in a later announcement.
Although many people swear by sensors rather than megapixels, you can’t help but stop and stare at the camera on the 808 PureView. On top of that, the company would have had to make a device that had a solid enough internal infrastructure for it to handle the huge photos, not to mention the videos the device is capable of taking. Are you looking forward to picking up this imaging sensation of a phone? If you are, be sure to stay tuned to Uberphones and when we’ll let you know when it will be coming around.
