Motorola just announced an Android device which will start its rollout in China, the MOTOSMART MIX XT550 is a low-to-mid end smartphone and comes with a 4-inch WVGA screen, a 3MP rear-facing camera along with a front-facing VGA camera, 3G, Wi-Fi capabilities, Android 2.3 Gingerbread and a 1735mAh battery that can apparently play music for a good 30 hours. Being that the device is meant to capture the music-oriented crowd, there are additional features in that area added to the device such as Dolby Mobile and SRS WOD HD sound-enhancement technologies.
On top of that, there is a Sina (a Chinese carrier) exclusive Micro Music application which allows you to not only manage your playlist while you’re on the go but also provides users with the ability to share your music mood at a particular time with your friends on Weibo. The specifications that are attached to the device aren’t exactly spectacular but if you are looking for an average Android device that has a decent music-related background, this might be what you’re looking for. The announcement did not include whether or not the device will be heading to the States but what do you think about it? Let us know with a comment.
