Samsung in the past has used MWC to launch some of their better known products, such as the Galaxy S2 in 2011 and the announcement of their Bada platform back in 2010. So what will the South Korean company have in store for us this MWC? Unfortunately according to Samsung, they will not be holding a press conference this year which is usually reserved for companies to launch new products and services. While we’re sure that the company has a couple of devices to launch, it looks like it will not be on the big stage nor will there be any flashy presentations accompanying it.

The company has confirmed that the Galaxy S3 will not be making an appearance at MWC 2012 and will instead be scheduled for an event of its own come middle of the year, so if you were hoping for any big and exciting announcements from Samsung at MWC, you might be in for a slight disappointment. Either way check back with us during the event as you never know what Samsung could have in store for us.
