iPhone 5 to launch September/October [Rumor]

Barely half a year since the iPhone 4S has gone on sale and already iPhone 5 rumors are starting to surface. Not surprising given the immense popularity of the phone, and if you are looking forward to getting your hands on the next-generation iPhone, well it looks like September or October are your best bets, at least according to a fresh set of rumors by Japanese website, Macotakara.

Prior to this rumor, there have been whispers that Apple will be releasing the next-generation iPhone in the middle of the year at WWDC. This has been Apple’s habit in the past, at least until the iPhone 4S which saw a release in the Fall of 2011, which is why a release of the iPhone 5 in September/October makes a lot more sense compared to a middle of the year release.

Either way we suggest that you take this information with a grain of salt for now, at least until the details can be confirmed, although for now we suggest you not get your hopes up just yet for a mid-year iPhone release.
