Blackberry Playbook OS 2.0 now available

Heads up Blackberry Playbook owners, it looks like the day has arrived! Keeping to their word of a 21st February release, RIM has officially announced the availability of the Blackberry Playbook OS 2.0 update! The update is available for download now, so if you’re looking forward to seeing more native apps headed your way, now is probably a good time as any to begin the update process.

According to RIM, the update will be bringing several new apps onto the tablet, an updated version of the Blackberry Bridge app, improved mobile productivity, an integrated email client with a unified inbox along with social integration with your Calendar and Contacts app. More information and details can be found at RIM’s website.
