Dell releases official Gingerbread ROM for the Streak 5

Despite Dell no longer selling Android products in the US market, it does not mean that they have completely abandoned support for existing customers. The good news for Dell Streak 5 owners is that the company has released the official Android Gingerbread ROM for your device.

We’re not sure what sort of changes have been made apart from the usual Gingerbread refinements, but if you’d like to download the update, head on down to the XDA forums for the download link. Keep in mind that you will need the correct stock recovery (version 350) installed first. Once again proceed with caution and if this is your first time installing a ROM for your device, you might want to do your homework before proceeding.
