If you’re in the market for a tablet, ASUS will be releasing the Eee Pad Memo come January of 2012. If you’re wondering why you should get excited over the Memo, well for starters it will come bundled with a Bluetooth companion (pictured to the right) that will not only double as an MP3 player, but a media remote control and can be used to make calls as well!
If that sounds pretty handy to you, it seems that the Memo will be offered through carriers – we’re guessing part of that reason has to do with the ability to make calls. Now ASUS’s goal here is to release the Memo with Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 on board, but given that they are currently focusing their efforts on their quad-core Transformer Prime (check out our review here), let’s hope that ASUS will find the time to work on ICS 4.0 for the Memo in time for its release.
