While Verizon has yet to announce an actual launch date for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Nexus, the FCC has already given the device its stamp of approval. The FCC filing shows that the device has received approval along with Verizon’s CDMA/EvDO 3G network along with compatibility for 4G LTE connections.

Rumor has it that the device could be seeing a launch on Friday but that remains to be seen. However those rumors could turn out to be true, especially with the recent approval by the FCC, but even if the Friday rumor falls through, at the very least we know that it has been approved and it shouldn’t be too long before Verizon announces its availability to their customers.
