With smartphone cameras getting better by the day, it’s not surprising that there are now rumors suggesting that Nokia may be coming up with a smartphone that supposedly has a better camera than the Nokia N8. The odd thing is that instead of using Windows Phone, the rumors are suggesting that Nokia will be using Symbian as their choice of OS instead.
The rumored specs are saying that the device will sport a 3.5” Gorilla Glass display with a resolution of 800×480, a huge camera sensor and probably using Carl Zeiss optics, a 1GHz processor with 512MB of RAM and it is expected to launch in Q2 of 2012. We’re not sure why they chose Symbian over Windows Phone, especially since they had dedicated pretty much all of their efforts towards Microsoft’s platform, but since these are rumors we’ll take them with a grain of salt for now.
