Heads up Canadian residents, it looks like the LG Optimus LTE will be officially available from Bell. No exact date or price was mentioned but it is expected to be made available in the coming few weeks. The handset was first announced for the South Korean market, and has since become LG’s fastest selling smartphone to date, and we can certainly see why.
The LG Optimus LTE will sport a 4.5” True HD IPS display, a dual-core 1.5GHz processor under the hood, along with an 8MP camera that is capable of recording 1080p HD videos and with 4G LTE connectivity. It will come shipped with Android’s Gingerbread 2.3 on board, but given that this is probably LG’s most powerful Android smartphone to date, we wouldn’t be surprised if the company has definite plans to bring the Ice Cream Sandwich to the Optimus LTE in the future.
