Owners of the Galaxy Nexus in the UK have been reporting a strange audio bug that causes the volume to jump erratically. This is by no means a small issue as it could affect things such as calls, games, videos and music playback. The good news is that Google has officially acknowledged the bug by issuing a statement.
“We are aware of the volume issue and have developed a fix. We will update devices as soon as possible.”
It appears that this is more of a software bug than a hardware problem, or at least that’s what we hope. No word on when the update will be arriving, but let’s hope it will be soon and that this update will also be issued to Galaxy Nexus phones that are expected to make its way to the rest of the world.
