For those who were early adopters of the iPhone and Apple’s iTunes App Store, you guys are probably familiar with the iOS game Texas Hold’em. This was a game developed by Apple and was available for $4.99, and was one of the first original games launched by Apple for iOS devices.

The game has since been pulled from Apple’s stores and we’re not sure why. Perhaps this might have something to do with Apple looking to create more original games, but for now it looks like if you’re itching to get your fix of Texas Hold’em, you will have to turn to alternative apps. Zynga’s Poker app seems like a good place to start.
