Motorola Atrix, Milestone 2 to receive Gingerbread 2.3 update mid-November

Heads up Motorola Atrix and Milestone 2 users, the Gingerbread 2.3 update will be heading your way some time in mid-November. Granted by then Ice Cream Sandwich should have already been revealed and possibly even released, but we guess better late than never, right? Here’s what Motorola has to say about it:

“Many of you are eagerly awaiting the 2.3 upgrade for Motorola ATRIX and Motorola Milestone 2; as well as 3.2 for Motorola XOOM and we’re pressing ahead to get the new software ready. Due to some additional fixes that needed to be made, we’re now working towards releasing the software for Motorola XOOM at the end of October and for Motorola ATRIX and Milestone 2 in mid-November. We will let you know as soon as we are able to make the software available to you”
