LG Optimus LTE to come to Canada as the LG Eye

Do you remember the LG Optimus LTE? It is one heck of a device, and for those who forgot, it sports 4.5” IPS display with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor under the hood. It will also feature Android’s Gingerbread 2.3 and a 1830mAh li-ion battery. We’re guessing that the larger battery is probably due to LTE draining a fair bit of battery.

Now the bad news at that time was that the device seemed to be only available in South Korea, but now it looks like LG has decided to share their goodies with the rest of the world, apparently starting in Canada first. While no date or price has been mentioned, it looks like Bell in Canada will be selling the device as the LG Eye. We’re guessing that this means those living in the states should be getting the device as well. Any takers?
