Blackberry PlayBook OS 2.0 coming February 2012

Good news Blackberry PlayBook owners, it looks like the long awaited major update for your PlayBook tablet will be arriving in February of 2012. Granted it’s still a while to go but we’re guessing that this update should more than please most of the PlayBook owners out there with long awaited features such as email integration.

Here’s the kicker though, for those who have been hoping for BBM integration, which seems like a natural progression, the Blackberry PlayBook OS 2.0 will not be bringing BBM as the company is still looking for a way to combine a single BBID on multiple devices. Not worry as RIM has stated that they are working on it and that BBM integration will be present in a later update.
