30% of Blackberry users want to switch smartphones

According to a survey taken last month before the RIM outages, out of 243 smartphone users who were interviewed in companies that had had more than 10,000 workers, a shocking 30% of Blackberry users said that they were looking to use a different smartphone by 2012, and it seems that those numbers may be especially higher now after the outages.

Based on the survey by Enterprise Management Associates (EMA), the reason why workers wanted a change was because of the lack of apps on a Blackberry phone. It seems that workers feel personally productive on iPhones and Android devices compared to Blackberry phones.
