Looking for a tablet in the 7” variety? Toshiba has announced their new Thrive tablet, which is in the 7” variety and will be smaller than its 10” predecessor which was launched last year. In terms of hardware, it appears that the 7” Thrive does not differ greatly from its 10” sibling, meaning that users should be able to expect an NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor under the hood, a 5MP rear and 2MP front facing camera with a 1280×800 resolution display. It will also be running on Android’s Honeycomb 3.2 platform. No word on pricing but the tablet is expected to be made available in December in 16GB and 32GB flavors.
