Heads of folks in Japan! Sharp has announced another Aquos device, and this one will be sporting 3D capabilities, so if the HTC EVO 3D or LG Optimus 3D isn’t to your fancy, perhaps the Sharp Aquos SH8298U may be something worth checking out.
It sports a 1.4GHz Snapdragon processor with Adreno 205 graphics along with 512MB of RAM, a 4.2” qHD glasses-free 3D display with dual-8MP cameras in the rear for 3D video capture. It will also be running on Android’s Gingerbread 2.3 and will be available in white or red.
No word on how much it will cost or if it will be making its way into the US, although based on the trend it seems unlikely. But is this an alternative to the EVO 3D and Optimus 3D you wouldn’t mind checking out?
