WiFi not cutting it for you anymore? Want more flexibility in terms of connectivity? Well the good news is that AT&T will now be carrying the 4G capable version of the Acer Iconia Tab A501. In terms of the specs the A501 is pretty much the same as the A500 with the add bonuses of 4G capabilities.
Unfortunately AT&T clarified that by 4G they mean HSPA+, not LTE, but still we figure it’s pretty decent. It will come with Android’s Honeycomb 3.0 but according to an Acer rep, it seems that the 3.1 update will be coming OTA soon. It will go on sale this coming Sunday for $480 or $330 on contract.
