Gateway, Acer’s subsidiary company, has launched (or should we say relaunched) the Acer Iconia Tab A500 under the moniker Gateway TP Series A60. It’s essentially the same as the Iconia A500 with the key difference being in its design.
The A60 will sport a black finish on the back and bezel of the device, which will be a departure from the A500’s brushed metal silver finish. Specs wise it remains the same with an NVidia Tegra-2 duo-core processor with a 10.1” 1280×800 resolution display, Android’s Honeycomb 3.1 and will sport 16GB of internal storage. It will also retail for the same price at $399.99, so if you’re looking for the Acer’s A500 in a different finish, the Gateway A60 may be the answer.
