Are you ready for the “world’s slimmest smartphone”? Well NEC is claiming that their Medias smartphone is the “world’s slimmest” and based on the reports, the device may soon be headed to the US.
According to the Nikkei, the NEC Medias will most probably be made available through Verizon and a quick recap on the device – it will come with a 4” LCD display featuring a 480×854 resolution, a 5.1MP camera and will be running on Android’s Gingerbread 2.3. No word on its processor, when it will be available or how much it will cost, but expect features such as digital wallet, TV tuner and infrared to get dropped for the US version.
