Motorola Defy+ is “life proof”

For those looking for a rugged, mid-ranged Android device, you may not have to look further than the new Motorola Defy+, which Motorola is touting as a “life proof” phone, meaning that it should be able to withstand a bit of water, some scratches and is also apparently dust proof.

It comes loaded up with Gingerbread 2.3 and will be running on a 1GHz processor. It will also feature a 3.7” display and a 5MP rear-facing camera with flash. No word on pricing but the device is scheduled to make an appearance in Asia, Europe and Latin America early this fall.
