It seems that a HTC Droid Incredible user has sent an email to the company enquiring about whether the device would be receiving the Gingerbread 2.3 update. This is based on previous rumors that the device would not be receiving the update. Well if the email as pictured above is to be believed, then it seems that Incredible users will receive the Gingerbread update, although based on the e-mail, it is not known when exactly the device will be getting it.
Either way it’s definitely better news than the device not receiving the update at all. Better late than never, right?
