ASUS Eee Pad Transformer 2 to run Kal-El processor?

With the huge success the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer has had, we weren’t really surprised to hear that there would be a successor to the highly popular Android tablet. In fact, we would have been surprised if ASUS decided not to release a successor. Well the rumors surrounding the device have put it at an October release, and now it appears that the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer 2 will be the first tablet to be running on NVidia’s Kal-El SoC, which will be a quad-core processor.

Given the success of the Transformer, and if the rumors are true about it being the first tablet to feature NVidia’s quad-core processor, we don’t see why the Transformer 2 will do just as well, if not better, than its predecessor.
