Interested in getting a smartphone/tablet hybrid? If you’re living in Germany, you’re in luck as Acer has just announced the release date of the Acer Iconia Smart. The hybrid device will be launching come September, and for those who are interested in its specs, the device will be 4.8” in size and sports a resolution of 1024×480.
It will also run on a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and will come loaded up with Android Gingerbread 2.3. It will retail for €499 which roughly converts to $710, which does seem a bit steep. No word on if and when they will release the device in the states. If they do, anyone out there plans to get their hands on it?
