Toshiba acknowledges “sleep of death” bug for their Thrive tablets

It seems that some owners of the Toshiba Thrive has been complaining about the sleep bug, which basically did not “wake” the tablet up from its sleep mode whenever its power button had been pressed. It was a problem that Toshiba had finally acknowledged, and have said that they are now working on a fix that would deal with that particular issue. The good news is that the bug is more of an annoyance rather than a deterrent, and a quick reboot of the device seems to be a temporary fix. The bad news is that Toshiba did not mention as to when Thrive owners can expect the fix, so let’s hope it won’t take them too long.
