Faster HP TouchPad 4G announced for AT&T

A while back we had reported that a roadmap for HP had been leaked, and in that roadmap it was said that the HP TouchPad would be getting a bump in speed, which we’re guessing will not make current TouchPad owners too happy. It looks like AT&T has recently confirmed that the HP TouchPad 4G will be arriving to on their network, and instead of a 1.2GHz processor, it will instead feature a 1.5GHz processor, but everything else should remain the same.

Apart from the increase in speed, the TouchPad will also get 4G connectivity, or in the case of AT&T, HSPA+. At the moment there has been no word on pricing or availability, but we can imagine it shouldn’t be too far away.
