Earlier this year there were some rumors that Acer was building tablet devices that ran on Intel’s Sandy Bridge process and also ran on the Android operating system. Intel’s Paul Otellini seemed to confirm that by saying that at Computex 2011 we should be seeing Intel powered tablets.

Now thanks to Digitimes it seems that Acer is planning their 10-inch Android 3.0 tablet built upon Intel’s Oak Trail platform to see a launch in July, which might very well mean we could be seeing the demo units at Computex 2011 which is the perfect event to be showing off their new tablet devices.

With their Iconia Tab A500 running on NVidia’s Tegra-2 processor and the rumors that Acer might be evaluating an Oak Trail tablet with MeeGo, it looks as if Acer is trying to create a series of tablets for everyone.
