According to a recent article by Reuters, Stephen Elop, CEO of Nokia was quoted as saying “We’re right now, today, having people work on the first Windows Phone devices.” This confirms that the Finnish giant is working on WP7 devices despite rumors about them only coming out with WP7 phones when the Mango update is released. Stephen Elop also mentioned that they want to get at least one Nokia WP7 phone into the market before the end of 2011. Will Nokia be the company to pull Microsoft out of the troubles they’ve been having with the mobile operating system? Who knows. We’ll just have to wait and see.
