The HTC Desire S that was shown off at the Mobile World Congress 2011 will be arriving in UK on April 8. The successor to one of the most beloved HTC phones, the HTC Desire has been officially announced by Vodafone and will be available for free with a 2-year contract on the carrier. The HTC Desire S features a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 processor, a 3.7″ (800 x 480) display, a 5 megapixel rear camera, a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera, Android 2.4 (Gingerbread), WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. Although some people will miss the trackpad and physical buttons of the original Desire, the new Desire S looks like a phone worthy to take its place.
