BlackBerry PlayBook

We all know that RIM’s upcoming tablet, the BlackBerry PlayBook will have a front facing camera for video calling purposes, but it was thought to be supported by a third party app like Skype or Qik. But it has been reported that RIM will be releasing its own video conferencing app that should be launching with the tablet. Other than that, no additional details have been released. Since no other BlackBerry devices carry front facing cameras it’s safe to say that the app will work for PlayBook tablets to other PlayBook tablets. Let’s hope it’s not restricted to being WiFi only. Is video calling on a mobile device important to you?
