WeTab revived with MeeGo

WeTab, the touted “iPad” killer that killed itself with its horrible custom interface, has been revived by Intel, this time with the MeeGo operating system at the helm of the controls. No, the tablet won’t be shipping with MeeGo – users will need to install the operating system themselves, but with MeeGo running on the device, it is actually turning out to be a sweet looking tablet that functions well. The only problem is, who else but developers are going to bother doing it themselves? The MeeGo tablet was on display at the Mobile World Congress and definitely managed to attract some attention. Now let’s see if anyone will pick up and capitalize on the idea.
