Motorola i886An Android phone with no touchscreen? That’s right folks. Motorola has come up with the world’s first non-touchscreen Android phone. The folks over at Phone Scoop recently got some hands-on time with the device and it is interesting to say the least.  The Motorola i886 iDEN handset which is sold on Sprint Nextel is a rugged phone that features a slide out QWERTY keyboard. It runs Android with a J2ME virtual machine to run Java apps (regular Android apps won’t work without a touchscreen) and it has no access to the Android Market (for the same reason) but it will have access to GetJar’s app catalog.
