Opera Mobile for Android now available

It looks like Opera has kept their promise and released Opera Mobile on time. If you already have Opera Mini on your Android phone, don’t be confused- even though they are both browsers from Opera, they work differently. Opera Mobile allows you to surf the internet like you were on a desktop PC, so you get to view sites the way they were meant to be viewed. Opera Mini, on the other hand, worked by sending your page requests to a remote server for compression before you received it on your phone- this method can sometimes mess up the way a site looks on your phone, and images will be of a lower quality after compression. If you’re looking for an alternative browsing experience to your default Android browser, try giving it a shot- it’s free after all. The browser is now available for download on the Android Market.
