BlackBerry Storm 3 Called Monaco And Touchscreen Bold Dubbed Montana

The BlackBerry Storm 3 was thought by many to have been cancelled but now whispers are going around that the phone is still alive and is codenamed the Monaco. Specific details weren’t mentioned but there is a possibility of a larger 3.7-inch display along with a trackpad from other BlackBerry phones, not to mention the possibility of a newer processor. Aside from that, the previously rumored BlackBerry Dakota 9900 has also been dubbed the Montana. Nothing much has been mentioned about this phone aside that it was originally going to offer the Bold’s fixed QWERTY design with a touchscreen. We’re still waiting for some official confirmation on these devices, but it’s unlikely that anything will be happening until sometime in 2011.
