Samsung Omnia To Be WinMob Only
Story posted on: April 8, 2009. Filed in: samsung.

Some Windows Mobile fans are probably still smarting over previous news that Samsung’s Omnia could be running Symbian’s S60 operating system, and not Windows Mobile. The good news is that there looks like there is a resolution to all of this, as Samsung has decided to reserve the Omnia name for Windows Mobile phones only, and therefore has stripped the Omnia branding from the i8910. At least it will save us the trouble of trying to remember what mobile operating system is running on the Omnia in the future.
