Do Pirates Fight Amongst Themselves?

Lots of iPhone users love to jailbreak their iPhones and also use pirated apps, after all, who wouldn’t want free stuff, right? Well, what happens when pirates steal from pirates? Some of the folks who offer jailbroken stuff include Installous, Hackulous, and Mega. Now a lot of them are involved in mudslinging amongst each other. A good example would be that Hackulous came up with a free app which allows users to download pirated iPhone apps, while Mega released a similar service, albeit on a subscription model of $9.99 monthly, $23.99 quarterly or $41.99 for 6-months. The folks behind Hackulous then came up with Grabulous that allows free access to all of Mega’s apps. Sounds petty, doesn’t it? But in the end if end users benefit, we suspect they’re not going to complain.
