Qualcomm Scores Minor Victory Against Broadcom

In the never ending fight of Qualcomm versus Broadcom, it looks like Qualcomm has scored a minor victory, though it hasn’t won the war just yet. A federal judge has dismissed one of the complaints filed against Qualcomm by competing wireless chip-maker Broadcom. Broadcom complained that Qualcomm was getting undue royalties from patents that were already exhausted, but the judge threw out the complaint as Broadcom had failed to list any specific patents.
