Opera To Get Geolocation

Opera Software and Skyhook Wireless have announced their partnership to bring geolocation to the web. Users will get the ability to share their location with any website. Using the new W3C Geolocation Application Programming Interface (API), Opera will bring Skyhook Wireless’ location platform to web developers, which will be able to implement it with just a few lines of JavaScript. It looks like location-based services will be the next big thing, and it will be interesting to see what other cool features will come from those services in the future.
