Obama Wants Genachowski To Helm FCC

The FCC is a great source of upcoming phones, as we’re always going through the FCC reports to see what we can dig up, so it’s no surprise that we’ve waiting to see who ends up as Chairman of it. Since Republican Kevin Martin has resigned, President Obama has nominated Julius Genachowski to replace Michael Copps, the current acting Chairman of the FCC. He’ll have to be confirmed by the Senate Commerce Committee before he can become the Chairman, so we’ll have to wait and see what happens after this.
