Apple’s iPhone certainly is a good record-breaker, as it seems to keep rewriting all the rules. Now a recent survey from admob indicates that the popular cell phone has the largest share of the smartphone market, based on data traffic. If you’re looking for figures, the iPhone is responsible for 33% of all smartphone traffic, or 49.5% of the smartphone traffic in the US. Those are certainly phenomenal figures, considering that Apple’s iPhone hasn’t been around for more than a few years.
