Cydia To Challenge App Store?

Cydia has certainly been essential to the history of jailbreaking and the iPhone. Now the developer Jay Freeman is planning on turning it into a competitor to Apple’s App Store. It shouldn’t be too hard a job, as all he’d need to do is consolidate everything into a centralized payment service. Of course, Apple certainly won’t sit back and watch this unfold, therefore Freeman has already hired a lawyer, just in case the inevitable happens.
